More than 7 years after the breach that created the first open-coast Managed Realignment site at Medmerry the shingle barrier has changed dramatically.

This open access paper – with the graphical abstract pasted above – describes the changes and provides insights into the processes that drove these changes which should inform future projects on shingle barriers along the coastal group frontages.
