SCOPAC Workshops & Training
Andy’s Workshops: A Problem Shared
The aim of the “Problem Shared” workshop series is to share best practice and to assist operating authorities with basic skills development. Experienced coastal engineers and contractors are invited to share their in-depth knowledge and understanding with those new to the industry.
The workshop series commenced in 2010 and is named in honour of Professor Andy Bradbury, Chairman of the Southern Coastal Group 2009–2014 and a key member of SCOPAC. Andy was keen for the workshops to focus on “the nuts and bolts” of a topic; each year, Southern Coastal Group engineers choose a topic relevant to coastal management or engineering.
